Sustainable Transport Specialist (f/m/d)

Your main tasks in this role are:

You will support in the shaping of ALDI"s future supply chain network with a focus on transport technologies
As a Sustainable Transport Specialist, you will analyse the current supply chain and support the development of improvements focusing on transport logistics and emission reduction
You will research and define technology requirements for transportation with a focus on sustainability
Additionally, you will assist in estimating related cost impacts for the development of financial business cases and projections
You will develop roadmaps and support our country teams in implementing green logistics initiatives
Working in multi-national project teams you will develop solutions to create sustainable future supply chains for the ALDI SOUTH Group

The requirements of the role include:

You hold a university degree, ideally with a focus on business, supply chain management, sustainability, or similar
As a Sustainable Transport Specialist, you have relevant professional experience in the fields of consulting, transportation, or operational excellence
Knowledge of the transportation industry and associated technologies is considered an asset
You are proficient in MS Office (especially MS Excel)
You possess business-fluent English skills
Your strong communication skills enable you to present complex information in a clear and simplified manner
With an analytical mindset and an entrepreneurial spirit, you are also keen on staying up to date with the latest industry trends
